For $25 you get a four-hour surfboard shaping class ($100 value) where you will learn the basics of shaping from the surf-shaping masters at Shaper Studios. This is a hands-on class and everyone is encouraged to take pictures and notes. Participants will learn the art of shaping a surfboard from start to finish using real shaping tools and a real surfboard blank. Designed to ensure you get the most out of the class, it is divided into two parts with a small lunch break in between. Come enjoy this unique experience and share in the love of surfboard shaping!

Shaper Studios is a one of a kind public surfboard workshop. What does that mean? Well, in response to the emerging progressive surf culture in San Diego, they have created a clubhouse where surfers can shape and design their own surfboards. That's right, with help from friendly staff, surfers are invited to design, shape, and even paint their own surfboard. Didn't get an A in art class? Shaper Studios offers group and private shaping lessons where surfers of all skill levels can master the craft of shaping. They have a wide array of custom glassing and artwork options to give you the most unique board on the water!
